Dominic Thomas is a performance specialist with years of experience in the elite performance, collegiate and youth setting. Dominic completed an MJP externship and has worked at Michael Johnson Performance as a Performance Specialist serving elite collegiate and NFL athletes. 2017 Dominic was stationed in Irvine, CA to assist in the preparation of 13 athletes for the 2017 NFL combine (10 in were drafted; 3 in the first round, Mitchell Trubisky, Deshaun Watson, Garret Bolles).
Prior to Michael Johnson Performance Dominic spent three years in the NCAA ranks, serving as strength and conditioning coach at Indiana University and Missouri Western State University where he also was an athletic scholarship recipient for the sport of American football. While at Indiana University Dom worked directly on the performance staff primarily serving their Division 1 NCAA American Football program while also developing the universities track sprinters. While at Indiana Dominic was fortunate enough to work under the renowned speed expert Dr. Matt Rhea who holds a PHD in human performance and speed development, and additionally working alongside nationally-recognized strength coaches David Ballou and Keith Caton.
Dominic received his Bachelor of Art in Sports Management, Master of Applied Science in Sport & Fitness.
