Cindy Murray is a part-time Physical Therapist at MJP in McKinney, TX, and has been practicing as a licensed physical therapist since 1992. Since that time, she has specialized solely in orthopedic and sports medicine. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Health Education, and then received her BS in Physical Therapy in 1992 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. During her career, Cindy has worked with athletes of all ages, and of all levels, from the elementary school age to the Olympic and professional athletes.
Cindy has continued to further her education and regularly attends seminars on sports medicine injuries on a yearly basis. She has had the opportunity to be trained by some of the leading providers in the field over the years, but has also been involved in educating other providers as well. Cindy has taught courses for the Texas Medical Association, and has also presented to the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO). Additionally, she has been featured on the Fox 4 and WFAA morning shows educating viewers on preventing sports injuries in young athletes, and preventing back injuries caused by backpacks.
When not at work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her daughter is an avid equestrian and rides for the equestrian team at Tarleton State University; her son plays baseball for Liberty High School in Frisco ISD. Cindy has a horse that she competes in Dressage, a type of English riding.
