Carina is currently a part-time PT Technician in the MJP Sports Medicine clinic. She first joined MJP in December 2015 as a performance intern where she assisted with the NFL Combine, Pro Day, College and NextGen programs. Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler in May 2016, Carina transitioned into MJP’s 12-week externship program, which led to her being hired on as a Part-Time Seasonal Coach to service the strength & conditioning summer camp at Roach Middle School. During this time, Carina also trained elite and youth level athletes at MJP, and helped in the Sports Medicine clinic.
Born in Oxnard, California, Carina moved to McKinney, Texas at the age of 13. During all 4 years of high school at McKinney North High School, Carina participated on the Varsity Soccer team and was recognized as all-district midfielder. Additionally she played for various D2 select and travel soccer teams.
