Bryan is the Director of Performance at the INSPIRE Sports Academy located in Manila, Philippines. Previously, Bryan was stationed in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and he worked primarily with the Fluminense Soccer Academy on a global partnership project. Bryan has been a member of the MJP team since May of 2015 and has worked with athletes in the NextGen program at the facility in McKinney, Texas. He is a 2013 graduate from the University of North Texas where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and minor in Health Promotion. During his time at the University of North Texas, he was a member of the football team from 2011-2013. Before transferring to UNT, Bryan attended Missouri Southern State University where he was also a member of the football team.
Bryan is currently the Director of Performance at the INSPIRE Sports Academy located in Manila, Philippines. Previously, Bryan was an MJP Performance Specialist in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, where he worked primarily with the Fluminense Soccer Academy. Prior to working in Brazil, Bryan completed the 2015 summer externship at Michael Johnson Performance in McKinney, Texas.
During his externship, Bryan’s responsibilities included implementing progressive resistance, max velocity, acceleration, angular acceleration and short change of direction training methods for the MJP NextGen program. He has worked with athletes in a wide range of sports, from American football to swimming. He has also coached many athletes in MJP’s Elite Young Athlete program, consisted of athletes ranging in age from 14-18.
Bryan is a 2013 graduate from the University of North Texas where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and minor in Health Promotion. During his time at UNT, he was part of the football team from 2011-2013. Before transferring to UNT, Bryan attended Missouri Southern State University and was a part of the football team in Joplin, Missouri.
After graduating from UNT, Bryan was a Performance Coach at GameOn Athletics in Denton, Texas, and a Performance Coach with Performance Course and Speed Camp USA.
He is currently working towards his Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification.
