Aaron Piper began working at MJP as an Off-site coach during the Summer of 2017. Aaron graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Kinesiology: Human Fitness & Performance. During his graduate studies he completed a Thesis Study on the Comparison of Post-Activation Potentiation Methods on Power and Sprint Acceleration. Aaron was a two sport athlete while at Stephen F. Austin, competing in both Football and Track & Field. He currently holds two Track & Field school records in the 100m Dash (10.19-seconds) and the 400m Relay (39.55-seconds). Following his NCAA eligibility Aaron worked as a volunteer Strength & Conditioning Coach as well as a volunteer Track & Field Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays Coach at Stephen F. Austin State University.
Aaron has just received his Strength & Conditioning Certification (CSCS). Also, Aaron has received publication from the International Journal of Exercise Science on the study, “Running Economy Strongly Related to Ground Contact Time Imbalances.” He is currently awaiting a second publication on his Post-Activation Potentiation Thesis Study.
